During the 25th and the 26th of May, many of the consortium members gathered in person in León, northern Spain. Bianor Biotech, one of the members, has its headquarters there. The members who could not attend in person were able to take part in the meeting thanks to the hybrid reunion organised by Marta Lores, our project coordinator, and all the LIDSA USC team.
After our Kick Off Meeting was celebrated in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), a lot has been going on. Every work package explained what they have been working on these past 6 months and how they have been carrying on their research and tasks.
The members gathered to keep up to date with the progress of the project, to discuss next implementation actions, next communication & dissemination activities and to decide how to overcome potential critical implementation actions. During the meeting the project progress was assess, based on the work plan prepared before the beginning of the project.
When all the presentations were done, it was time for questions and answers. The best part of meeting in person is the good communication, all the questions that are posed and afterwards all the replies from each member. This enriches a lot the work dynamic and the networking and gives all members a sense of belonging and working towards our goals.
It was a very successful meeting and a very good opportunity to assess how the work is progressing and how we can face the upcoming months. Good job, team! Let’s keep up until our next reunion. And meanwhile, you can reach us through our project social media on Twitter and LinkedIn. See you soon!
Take the chance and exchange experiences and knowledge about the importance of finding sustainable alternatives to reduce AMR.
