The NEOGIANT consortium gathered in Edinburgh, Scotland, for its seventh General Assembly, hosted by the Moredun Institute — a renowned research centre dedicated to animal health and welfare. This two-day in-person meeting marked an important milestone to assess the work completed so far and to plan the next steps together.
Throughout the assembly, Work Package leaders shared updates on their progress, outlining key achievements, ongoing activities, and upcoming tasks. The meeting provided space for open discussion, alignment on priorities, and reinforcement of collaboration across the project’s different areas of expertise.
One of the most engaging moments of the event was the guided visit to a nearby farm, where the partners had the opportunity to observe local livestock and better understand the practical context surrounding NEOGIANT’s research focus.
We would like to sincerely thank the Moredun Institute for hosting us in their excellent facilities and for the warm welcome in their beautiful city of Edinburgh. As the project continues to move forward, this assembly reaffirmed our strong partnership and shared commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for animal health.

Take the chance and exchange experiences and knowledge about the importance of finding sustainable alternatives to reduce AMR.
